Nobody does Iggy, but from my personal experience , the dlc is well worth the money spent. I enjoyed the dlc storylines more than the main game storyline.

It was probably done so there was some kind is connection to all the dlc and the main game. Remember that Fallout 3's dlc was a little random and had no connection to each other and to the main storyline. But New Vegas' dlc all ties into each other and shows you why you were double tapped in the head.
