Because we need moar topics. :U
My fave three to play are the: Soldier, Medic, Engineer.
I like the Soldier because he's the 'do everything/anything' class. When I just want to go out and explode stuff and not have to worry about fulfilling a team-role, I go with him. Medic because everyone loves a medic, never too many medic players. And Engie because I'm a lazy git and aiming is too much effort, let my (mini)sentry do all the work.

I can play most classes (still suck teh bum at the Spy) but my most requent classes are Soldier, Scout and Demoman.
Solider is my go to man. Thick as shit and sporting an over compansating rocket launcher, his lust for battle, murder and gibbing is something that truely speaks directly to my heart. His ability to surge forward to tackle sentries and blow back their defences or tank on defence have made him such an important class to how I like to play the game.
Scout makes me laugh. Fragile and dangerously arrogant he constantly comes out with one liners that make killing people a pleasure. His speed and capture rate make me feel like I can feel help th epush of my team and with some bouncey, bouncey, sprinty, sprinty I can be amongst the bastard BLU's spawn causing chaos or blasting away their snipers and medics with short range buckshot. Annoying everything that moves, so much fun
Lastly Demoman. Again, he suits my play style being effective on attack and notoriously enemy irratating on defence. He combines high explosives with booze and lots of sharp pointy things to hack peoples heads off. Hilariously good fun in melee and great for exploding entire teams in just the flick of a sticky button, Demo makes being a scotmans a real pleasure.

I couldnt select pyro 3 times ;~; I love my ickle pyro, honestly the only class which does not spawn rages when i ish playing eet x3. I dont think anything gives me more pleasure in tf2 than removing a burning heavys head with a vicious axe wrapped in barbed wire. And then getting +1 kill for it. Demoman would probably come 4th (after the other 3 pyros), because any game which includes a token black character as a drunken scottish cyclops with an affinity for removing heads and gibing what remains of their bodies, is a definite winner. (He also has a pink pimp hat) My 5th choice is such a mess, theres so many other classes I'd love to take the slot, my battle engy of doom, that messed up mad doctor, the batshit insane soldier, a backstabbing scumbag, or the cocky aussy sniper. I just cant pick a 5th

1# Pyro
I love his/hers personality the best - hidden personality, mysterious and cruel, sneaky and cool. And gasmask are forever in the fashion - who doesn't own one? SHAME ON THEM. Fire is one of earthly elements, it's not explosing like normal guns or accurate, I just like it as a weapon of choise, and it's the closest to lightning too. And goddammit I love when people die of my afterburn - I like the style of taking people down along with myself, it's how I play. HE ALSO HAS THE HALLOWEEN WINGS EEEEEHHHH!!!
2# Scout
SPEED, SPEED, SPEED and silly things. Yup - no reason I'd not like this class. Although it's only second due to me not being good at aiming...
3# Medic
He's also a cool character - and I love being in support. Although I too often run and try to stab people with my strange ubersaw... because I like that. =x
4# Spy
Would be more up on my list - I really like the playing style of this character, invisibility and sneaking - but I suuuucckkkk SOOOOOOOO much playing spy 3:

Pyro is moving up in my list. I'm really focusing on learning and getting good at air-blasting. My crowning moment of awesome for today was air-blasting a Direct Hit Crocket back at the soldier that shot it. Needless to say said victim raged.
Really, I'm getting a lot of ire and surprise sent my way for breaking the trend and being a W+M2 pyro. :B

Pyro is #1: With the pyro I am somewhat of a Leeroy Jenkins, no strategy, just run and torch. Having no strategy doesn't mean I have no plan. When a team is massing and pushing my team backwards, running in there torch ablaze not only scatters their numbers, but also helps my team get a solid foothold to push back with. And should my team have it all handled, I will keep the spies and scouts from doing any damage to the base. My weapon of choice is my rage-inducing(Soon to be server clearing) backburner. I will sometimes use the degreaser and axtinguisher, but not a lot. Running up behind half the enemy team and decimating them with full crits is such a good feeling.
Sniper takes spot #2 When I started, I couldn't snipe to save my life. I would stand in the doorway and wait for a head to walk across my crossdot. But I kept at it and now, I'm pretty good at it, though I'm certainly not the best. I use the Machina purely for looks, I could care less about the additional stuff it does. And when I'm in the mood, I will go full piss-rifle set, complete with croc hat. I like it because of the mincrits and seeing how people rage over me using it is quite amusing.
Bronze metal goes to engineer in 3rd place: Arguably the most crucial player in the game. He keeps his base safe while his team wreaks havoc on the other. I am not a battle-engie unless Im on a payload or capture point map, and I suck at battle-engie. Mini sentries are okay, but they get destroyed really easy (And usually before I can finish building them) So I stick with defense, stopping the illusive scouts from taking my intel and having to deal with ubers. I use the wrangler because its better then having a pistol, the southern hospitality because it makes spies bleed, and the widowmaker to find cloaked spies (Returns metal if you hit them).

1. Scout. On CTF maps you ARE the team. I can't count the number of times a good Scout Crew has been able to break a long stalemate. You just have to know the paths. Always fun although you will be stuck in spawn screen a lot.
2. Pyro. That air blast can be used with deadly effects. A good Pyro can keep even the best at bay.
3. Heavy. Why? One Liners. That is all you need to have a good time.
To be totally honest I don't think I have logged in since they made it F2P. My favorite servers are always full now and I guess I just slowly lost interest. Been playing waaaay to much Forza 4 and Skyrim.

#1 Pyro: Being that sneaky psychopath really appeals to me.
#2 Medic: More having to do with the fact I'm very good at it.
#3 Heavy: Wild stallions could not move me.

#1 Pyro: Being that sneaky psychopath really appeals to me. Sneaky?!?! Pyro?!?! You're playing it wrongs x3 Pyro is very sneaky when you play backburner, get crits if you hit peoples backs, and keep critting especially when they didn't notice you to begin with ^^ Also pyro is silent. I used to sneak alot with it when I used backburner more. But now I got myself the strange degreaser so thats just run at and then hit with axe =P
