Okay so this might be a silly and basic question but I couldn't find the answer on the site or forum anywhere.
What genre of music does Dawn of the Deed play?
Aside form a mention of it being "Rock" I don't think it was ever specifically stated. Secondary to that, has anyone considered actually recording anything? I know there are at least a few musicians on the forums.

They are alternative/punk/pop/rock or something along those lines anyway, I think it suitable for a rebellious hedgehog to be doing such things.
Although the propect of having a Dawn of The Deed record or something created musically is a fun one it's not likely to happen, as I only make electronic music and I'm not even sure how Vee's voice should sound.

I don't imagine it would be to hard to find a vocalist, and I happen to have a background in Alternative and Punk so I can put together the guitar work. From the stuff I heard of yours on FA I would assume you are pretty good at drum sequencing (which works since according to cannon they are using a drum machine anyway). All we would need to do is find a few people and a way to collaborate files online. |

Well I'm sure Squee would be more than eager to play the role of Oscar and pick up his bass  As far as I'm concerned, it seems like an interesting idea, although I'm pretty sure the publicity boost wouldn't be great without a large number of fans to promote it. Being decided on Vees voice would be the clincher though, you'd have to find someone who fit her perfectly, and without knowing what she sounds like in your head, it may be hard |

Drum sequencing would be a problem, drum machines are very basic loopy numbers, least that's what they would be using. I think I'd know Vee if I heard her, just gotta hear her |

All true. I think that it would be wise wait until we gather more forum members. However I think that is is definitely something we should keep in mind. Maybe in the mean time we could start a thread for auditioning singers. Something just to get the ball rolling in the mean time.
