So, because the page discussions tend to be limited with the subject - I feel that there should be thread to discuss the overall plot/characters/other stuff.
Right now, what do you think of Plus1? What do you think/feel about each character? What do you think of the plot? current events? What do you like? What do you dislike? What would you like to know more? What would you like to see less? What do you think is going to happen? What did you not see coming?
I want to see peoples opinions and views, this is why we made the forums, to hear what other people think.
And feel free to update your views when the comic continues =3

I think Plus1 is well put together, both visually and plotwise. Nuff really knows how to make the conversations flow naturally, and even though the comic is still pretty much in the beginning, I'm nearly hooked. I also think your arting style fits the comic well. :3 The only thing I still complain about is that Oscar isn't the singer...

Exactly Iggy! The bassist is the classic role that Oscar needs, of being the quiet sort who's just thankful that he's even included at all!
I speak in general of course, no biased opinion on the comic/characters whatsoever!

And then we had a quitarist and a pianist.But we failed to find a drummer.
Enough about that. Lets bring my opinion over here =D I am really enjoying on drawing the character interraction in this comic, on my projects before Plus1 I always kinda left it short, because I've always been such a rushy person, but in Plus1 the dialogue is so good that it doesn't leave boring parts for me to get bored at a page. Nuff manages to make even the small things interesting in speech and relationships between characters. On character side I really enjoy drawing Oscar and Kayly - their designs are interesting to draw, Vee isn't as strong on that side but her emotions and actions make it up for her character. I also loved drawing the Tike twins a lot, although I really dislike what they are personality-wise, and I feel like taking the side of Vee on the argument between them. But then there's Tray, Nuff and others already know how much I hate his character, he's so boring and generic to me, I try to get him look less empty through the art, but he keeps feeling herp to me, I don't know what other people think and what does it look like to them - hopefully that doesn't infulence the opinions of other people on him. And then there's Aunty Jean, don't forget her. She feels like a very generic parent person - even though she really isn't a parent. Although I feel that people should be shown more of her personality, I've tried showing it through the house and the atmosphere a bit for now. I'd also like to comment about future characters rightaway, but I shall remain quiet on them still. But I'm really looking forward on getting to draw Rosemary the first time. |
